Hugh is one of Meteorite's founding partners. He started client-side with companies including Bally Shoes, Levi's and the Burton Group. He was a director at Y&R, Wunderman and Marden Kane, working on Adidas, the Mirror Group, Microsoft and United Distillers among others. He sits on a number of industry bodies including the DMA Council and the IDM B2B Council.
Debbie Smith, Managing Director
As founding partner and MD, Debbie is actively involved on all client accounts. Debbie started her career in the marketing department at Boots before moving to the agency world. Her successes include launching the original Sainsbury's Reward scheme, the Homebase Spend and Save strategy and Thresher's Wine Clubs.
Dan Douglass, Executive Creative Director
Dan joined Meterorite from FCBi where he was ECD and European Creative Director on Motorola; previously he was a founding partner of DP&A where his successes included the launch of The Goldfish credit card. Emma Janson-Smith, Head of Planning
Emma heads up our communications and data planning department. She has over ten years of marketing experience across numerous sectors including financial services, automotive, telecommunications and travel and leisure. She previously devised the pan-European strategy for Nissan and ran the UK Barclays account.
Marcus Hadfield, Head of Digital
Marcus has over 8 years' experience in the direct side of digital, from customer acquisition to long-term CRM programmes. He is a digital specialist grounded in strong traditional channel disciplines. He is a firm believer in the integration of on and offline channels and the importance of a single customer journey. He strongly opposes digital vanity projects that don't deliver a return.
