Since we last spoke, we've had heaps of new people in our office who we'd like to introduce you to - so let's get started…
Gavin Mackinnon-Little - Film Producer
Now a producer, Gavin began his career as a copywriter at JWT Cape Town in 1987. He moved to the UK 13 years ago, continued writing until 2007 for Claydon Heeley, Brann, DP&A and Haygarth where he was Head of Copy. In between writing he was a freelance film-maker providing content for clients including World Vision, BMW, Canon and JP Morgan. This is exciting news for Meteorite as Gavin's arrival will open new doors for many of our clients keen to explore the benefits of film in their marketing mix.
Tim Green - Head of Data
Following a second spell at Ogilvy-One Worldwide, Tim brings 17 years of direct marketing, digital and database experience to his new role as Meteorite's Head of Data. He has worked on major global projects for Cisco, Apple, and IBM, and was formerly Head of Data Strategy for The Jigsaw Consortium (Unilever, Kimberly Clark, Cadbury's). He is a graduate of Ogilvy's 'adopt-a-country' European exchange programme, and has a wealth of automotive experience, having previously worked with Audi, Mercedes, Lexus, Toyota, and Vauxhall. Aside from data, Tim is a keen musician / singer-songwriter who regularly performs live, and is always looking to add to his growing collection of guitars!!
Kerry Jones - Senior Account Director
In her very own words Kerry 'is a cradle to grave direct marketeer' with experience across acquisition, loyalty and retention, database development and segmentation. She has worked mostly within the financial, automotive and charity sectors over the last 10 years and now heads up the team for Royal Mail, Parcelforce and Jumeirah Hotels.
Lou Ellis and Phil Blackmore - Creative Team
Previously at Draft FCB, Lou and Phil are an award winning creative team who have years of experience working on brands like, Vauxhall, Saab, TDA, Save The Children and RNLI. They'll be working across our entire portfolio of clients. In their spare time they enjoy the usual things, garden bowls, ice skating and clubbing all over the world.
Juliette Harris - Account Manager
Joining from Rapier where she worked on the Lloyds TSB account, our newest recruit, Juliette, is Account Manager on the Expedia account. With many Meteorites enjoying running, she will certainly fit in as she is currently training for the half marathon.
Adelaide Thompson - Account Executive
Addy is our new Account Executive on the Homebase account. Previously working at a small marketing agency which specialised in luxury leisure, Addy has worked with clients such as W Hotels, St Regis, Le Meridien, Westin and Sheraton. In her spare time Addy loves to travel and cites her favourite places as India, Sumatra and Guatemala.
Charlotte Brown - Receptionist
Having just returned from two months travelling in New Zealand, Charlotte joins Bunny on reception. Like Bunny, Charlotte has become a big hit with her fellow Meteorites especially as she now orders the breakfast cereals and lunches. Charlotte will be at home in Meteorite's creative environment as she has a degree in 3D Design and a Postgrad in Interior Design and Architecture. She has also just taken up indoor climbing and enjoys watching the rugby in her spare time.
